Wendy began her County career with the
Auditor-Controller’s Department in 1988 as
an Accounting Systems Analyst in Special
Projects, Systems Division. In 1990, she
joined the
Department of Beaches and Harbors
as their Fiscal Officer. During the next
eight years, she rose to the rank of
Division Chief, Administrative Services.
In 1998, she joined the
Chief Administrative Office as the Assistant Division Chief,
Justice Section in the Budget and Operations
Management Branch, and in 2003, she assumed
the position of Director of Budget
Management with the
Sheriff’s Department.
She returned to the Auditor-Controller Department as the Assistant Auditor-Controller in 2004. In July 2006,
she was appointed to the position of Chief Deputy Auditor-Controller. This marks the
eighth year that Wendy has served as one of the Officers of the LACAAEA. She has met so many wonderful people and has truly enjoyed the numerous events that the Association has sponsored for its members. She invites fellow County employees to join this dynamic organization and to participate in many exciting activities in the future. |
